The product problem
Why Snappshot exists.
App Store screenshots are deceptively expensive: product selection, deterministic demo state, simulator automation, copy, layout, device art, and export rules all have to agree. Snappshot makes that pipeline inspectable instead of hiding it behind a one-click promise.
What the product does

Plan the story
Propose up to ten screens in the order a skeptical store visitor should meet them, constrained by what the source actually exposes.
Write an editable capture
Generate an XCUITest, simctl, Espresso, or adb workflow and show it before anything runs.
Repair with the log
When automation fails, use the actual query, navigation, attachment, and run output to revise the script.
Compose once, export many
Store geometry as normalized values so copy, screenshots, and frames adapt across Apple and Google store slots.
Track the generation cost
Record model calls, token mix, estimated cost, cache behavior, and pipeline stage locally.

The checked-in onboarding artwork is labeled as product illustration. Clean macOS application captures are still required for the device gallery and are specified in SCREENSHOT_REQUESTS.md.

Nothing misleading has been substituted. The requested device, state, demo data, native resolution, filenames, and repository destination are documented for the owner.
